During the lockdown period we have seen many a home bar and pub be created and as craftsmen ourselves we can not help but admire the talent and imagination of the wonderful people behind them. Now, what has to come with a pub or bar? A name of course and with a name comes the sign of which we have begun to make a few. So we thought today we would share with you some of the fun home pub signs we have made along with the accessories we stock that we think you would like great in any pub/bar. 

The Signs

When it comes to signs with us here at The Sign Maker you are spoilt for choice. We do everything from vinyl and engraved signs to wooden and stone. Additionally, there is a huge range of fonts and images to choose from to truly personalise your home bar or pub sign. 

Natural Wooden Signs

Natural wooden signs are beautiful and traditional. They come in Oak, Iroko, Sapele or as Rustic Slices and are treated with either Devon Oil or Satin Varnish. 

Painted Wooden Signs

Painted signs have become a particularly popular range in recent years and come in a selection of timbers including Oak, Accoya and Tricoya. They also come in a range of styles including single-sided, double-sided and framed. 

Vinyl and Engraved

For those wanting some colour graphics why not opt for a vinyl sign with a printed design. Or for those looking for something a little more understated we do lots of engraved materials that are long-lasting and maintenance-free. 

Stone Signs

Finally, stone signs are always a popular choice and we sell them in slate or granite. The slate can be left natural or oiled for a darker finish while our granite comes in a variety of different colours. 

Bar Tops

Because we are able to make stone signs we have all the tools and equipment to make bar tops and we have now made several slate bar tops for customers. Made out of 30mm slate the bar tops have a 45-degree bevel and the surface is oiled. A particularly nice touch is the personalisation that we can add from wording to images. Standard widths for the bar tops tend do be 300mm, 450mm and 600mm but we can cut to any size. 

Fun Bar Signs

As well as our bespoke range of signs we sell a selection of standard fun metal signs many of which look fantastic in pubs and home bars. 

Home Bar and Pub Gifts

Finally, here at The Sign Maker we also do a range of excellent gifts and there are a few that we think are just excellent accessories for home bars and pubs. 

Chopping Boards

We have a beautiful range of chopping boards from simple paddle boards to larger meat boards. Each one can be personalised with lasered wording and images. Here at The Sign Maker our onsite designers can draw up a design for your approval before going into production, making sure to get the design just right. 

Chalk Boards

Our highly skilled carpenters are ready to craft your bespoke chalk board that is just perfect for home pubs and bars. They can come in any size and can have the frame left natural or painted. They are a great addition with you being able to write fun messages, keep tallies for dart matches or write drink menus onto.
