Chemical Etching onto Brass and Stainless Steel – Are there any Cons?

The Sign Maker loves using Chemical Etching as part of their range. No cutter marks are left as the unwanted material is removed by chemicals leaving clear sharp flat surface detail. Much of the detail can be extremely fine as required in many corporate logos. Letters can also be much smaller than is possible with normal engraving.

Need colour or a photo? No problem! Chemical etching allows shading and any colour combos. Stainless steel can have a Brushed Finish or a Mirror polished finish. It is extremely durable and the brushed option requires no maintenance! Chemically Etched Brass is the more traditional option but it does need to be kept polished.

Can you find any flaws in this amazing etching option?
